Sea Views & Brighton Spirit
If you could condense the spirit of a town into one building, Artist Residence Brighton would be it. Creative, bohemian and downright eccentric, this unique boutique hotel at the head of Regency Square was reborn when we sent out an ad offering artists free board in return for their services. As a result, each of the 24 rooms is a blend of quirky original artwork and local character, with eye-popping sea views over Brighton seafront and the iconic West Pier.
Downstairs, the Clubhouse is a lively all-day neighbourhood hub, with light and airy spaces for a laid-back brunch or coffee date, a buzzing cocktail bar with sea views and quirky neon signage, and a programme of exciting foodie pop-ups.

All of our bedrooms have comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms, mini fridges stocked with local artisan produce, and limited edition art prints.
Our Tiny, Small & Comfy rooms feature quirky original artist murals whilst our other rooms are decorated in our signature eclectic style. Opt for a sea view room for beautiful views of the seafront and West Pier – our Bigger Sea View rooms and Sea View Loft all have bathtubs in the bedroom too.
For parties and groups, our Below Deck rooms are located on the lower ground floor with space for 3 – 6, the perfect crash pad after a night on the town.
Our smallest rooms feature original artist decor from street artists Pure Evil, Ben Eine and Blek le Rat, plus double beds, bespoke furniture, en-suite bathroom with shower and fabulous sea views. Perfect crash pads for shorter stays.
