COVID_19 Cancellation Terms Amendment
Due to the global pandemic we will be offering a 24 hour cancellation policy for bookings made from 1st March 2020 until May 30th 2020, and this will also apply to any bookings that need to be rescheduled due to the restrictions on travel.
Check-in & Check-out Times
Check in time is after 3pm and check out time is 11am.
To make a reservation we require card details. Your card will then be charged 3 days prior to arrival date. All bookings made under special promotions are non-refundable. Promotions cannot be redeemed in conjunction with another promotion or discount.
Room Occupancy & Extra Guests
Please be aware that all of our double rooms are reserved for single or double occupancy only. Due to safety implications and housekeeping requirements any guest found to be in breach of this double or single occupancy rule will be subject to an extra fee upon check out.
Should you wish to travel with a group or family some of our properties we have larger rooms for this purpose where you are able to pre-arrange the required bed set up.
Minimum Night Stays
We often operate a 2 night min on Friday & Saturday nights & Bank Holidays. We are sometimes able to make exceptions for last minute availability – to enquire please email our reservations team.
When booking direct we offer a 72 hour cancellation policy. This means that if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date your card will not be charged. If the booking is cancelled within the 72 hours the total reservation amount will be fully charged to the card provided.
Please note that if bookings are made via Booking.com, reservations are non-refundable and will be fully charged at the time of booking. For bookings made via Mr & Mrs Smith the guest will need to enquire with the travel agent directly regarding their refund.
For group bookings for 5 or more rooms please be aware that we require 7 days notice of cancellations or amendments. These changes are only ever dependent on availability and changes or cancellations of any kind made within the 7 days period are non-refundable.
For the comfort of our other guests we ask that we are made aware of any Hen or Stag parties at the time of booking, and we may refuse the booking if we feel it may compromise the enjoyment of our other guests. If you book for a Hen or Stag party without notifying us prior to the booking we reserve the right to refuse the booking upon arrival.
No Smoking Policy?
Artist Residence is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel building. Should it be brought to our attention that smoking has taken place, a cleaning fee of £100 will be assessed.
A charge of £45 will be taken in the event of a lost key. This covers the change of lock, key fob and the cost of a new key.
We are more than happy to post any lost items subject to the costs of postage. Due to the high volume of lost property we reserve the right to give to charity or dispose of lost property if it is unclaimed 2 weeks from the stay date.
We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage done to your room during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.
This voucher features a unique reference ID code, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable, please quote the gift voucher ID reference when reserving your room at Artist Residence. If you do sign up for our mailing list, your data will not be disclosed to any company outside of Artist Residence and we will only contact you about Artist Residence Hotels and our other ventures.

Although these works may be freely accessible on the World Wide Web and may not include any statement about copyright, the works are nevertheless protected by copyright. Users must assume that works are protected by copyright until they learn otherwise.
