Artist Residence London is looking for an experienced general manager/ GM to join us with immediate start.  We have sites in London, Brighton, Cornwall, Oxfordshire and soon Bristol.

Mr Hanbury’s Mason Arms is an eccentric take on a country pub with friendly, down-to-earth service, great food and drink. 5 luxe bedrooms are tucked away in the eaves.

About us: Artist Residence is a collection of award-winning hotels, restaurants and bars with a focus on great food, drink and service. We’re located in London, Brighton, Cornwall and Oxfordshire.

Our food & drink: Michelin trained Head Chef Leon Smith has a passion for sourcing the best local produce from within 25 miles wherever possible. His menu is an inventive take on British classics all helped along by a varied selection of local ales, fine wines and classic cocktails served with a seasonal British twist.

Main Responsibilities

  • Day to day running of the hotel, restaurant, bar and events
  • Analysing P&Ls, hitting financial targets and KPIs
  • Welcoming out local, regular and new guests in a warm friendly manner
  • Sharing our infectious love of food and drink with the team and customers
  • Inspiring and motivating the team, keeping them engaged and energised
  • Providing ongoing, interesting and innovating training to our new and existing staff
  • Ensuring our high standards and genuine friendly service are exceeded at all of the time.
  • Maintenance of the building, health and safety procedures
